Printer Setup
Download the PrintDo agent and connect your thermal printer.
Step 1 — Download the agent
Version 1.1.0 · · Supports Mac (12+) and Windows 10/11 · Requires a network-accessible ESC/POS printer
Step 2 — Install (Mac)
- Open the downloaded
.dmgfile and drag PrintDo to your Applications folder. - Run this once in Terminal to allow the app to open (required for unsigned apps):
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/PrintDo.app
- Double-click PrintDo in Applications — the icon appears in your menu bar.
Step 2 — Install (Windows)
- Run the downloaded
PrintDo-Setup.exe. - If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, click More info → Run anyway.
- Follow the installer. PrintDo starts automatically and appears in your system tray.
Step 3 — Connect to your account
The setup wizard opens automatically on first launch. You'll need an API key:
- Go to Settings → API Keys and generate a new key.
- Copy the key — you won't see it again.
- Paste it into the PrintDo setup wizard when prompted.
The agent will auto-discover your printer on the local network. You can also pin a specific IP in the wizard settings.
